BHC INITIATIVES

We have established the Bee Health Center® initiative, which brings together scientists, insect disease specialists, laboratories, research institutes, and specialists with experience and knowledge in veterinary medicine, apiary management, biology, and legal regulations. The initiative aims to develop the veterinary industry in the beekeeping sector and support beekeepers in achieving better health in their apiaries. It also includes partner veterinary practices, which are branches of the Bee Health Center®, run by specialists.

We are a member of COLOSS, an international non-profit association based in Bern, Switzerland, focused on improving bee welfare globally. Our members include professionals, including scientists, biologists, veterinarians and beekeeping specialists. Thanks to COLOSS, we have access to the latest news from the world of beekeeping, including bee diseases, veterinary diagnostics, and emerging trends.

Bee Health Center® Products

All for the good of your bees

Sometimes bees need our support to survive. The conditions in which we keep bees change: droughts, pollen shortages, diseases, deficiencies and the use of medical treatments. Our mission is to provide beekeepers with the highest quality products so they can ensure the health and well-being of their bees.

We completed a research and development project in collaboration with the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences, supported by funds from the Ministry of Economy through the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development. Thanks to this project, we developed and launched the NOSI-VET® product for bees. To address the serious challenges facing bee health, we are collaborating with scientists to intensify research on additional products.

Conference "Veterinary Medicine for Beekeeping"

Upon the initiative of VET-ANIMAL, we have been organising the “Veterinary Medicine for Beekeeping” conference series with Dr Bogdan Konopka since 2015 with the aim of creating a platform for communication and a place to discuss important issues affecting the world of beekeepers, scientists and veterinary medicine. Among the speakers, we had the honour to host, on several occasions, the Chief Veterinary Officer, Prof. Krystyna Pohorecka, PhD; Prof. Małgorzata Dżugan, PhD

Prof. Paweł Chorbiński, PhD; Anna Gajda, PhD; Artur Arszułowicz, DVM; Andrzej Bober, DVM, presidents of the Polish Association of Public Healthcare Professionals, and many other distinguished guests, as well as over 350 participants at each event. An important element of the conference is the expert panel, comprised of invited speakers who answer numerous questions from the attendees.

In our opinion, such a conference, which addresses a range of issues in beekeeping, should have a purpose, produce a tangible result, leave a legacy and influence change in the right direction, so as not to be just another sterile event in the beekeeping community. Therefore, we ensure that the conference conclusions and the issues discussed are reflected in concrete actions.

SPECIALIZED TRAINING

This is part of the educational aspect of our business and an activity that is incredibly important to us. This is the moment when we establish ourselves as more than just a company offering products for your pupils in our care. Our team meets with you across the country to address your needs.

It’s also the moment when you speak and we listen attentively. These are the moments when we build a closer relationship with you, get to know each other better and you share your concerns with us. Our role is to respond to these concerns and address them, including through

presenting new product solutions based on the latest knowledge, as well as collecting opinions on the solutions we offer.

We organize conferences, training sessions and meetings throughout the country for breeders, veterinarians, the Veterinary Inspectorate and animal breeders’ associations and unions.

Lectures are delivered by experienced veterinarians, specialists in animal disease prevention, nutrition, apiary management, and VET-ANIMAL specialists.
